The back and forth between LG Display and Samsung continues as LG Display has now filed an injunction request seeking a ban on Galaxy Note 10.1. In the injunction filed with the Seoul district court, LG alleges Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 to infringe three display patents and wants a ban on sales of the tablet in South Korea. Furthermore, LG Display is also seeking damages of up to 1 billion won per day.
On the other hand, Samsung Display’s executive has refuted LG’s claims by calling it “unjustified.”
Earlier this month, Samsung sued LG Display alleging patent infringement over PLS display technology.
