Samsung’s mid-range phablet Galaxy Grand has been announced for the Indian market. Announced internationally in December, India will be one of the first countries to get this 5-inch device.
Priced at Rs. 21,500, Galaxy Grand features a big 5-inch display but supports WVGA resolution (800×480 pixels). Furthermore, the phone runs Android 4.1.2 out of the box and boasts software enhancements like the new TouchWiz UI, S Voice, Multi-window, AllShare Play, Direct Call, Smart Alert, Popup Play.
On the hardware front, the phone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, dual-SIM support, HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 8MP rear-facing and 2MP front-facing camera, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 2100mAh battery.
As an introductory offer Samsung will also bundle a flip cover and 2GB data from Vodafone for 2 months.
