Hydrofluoric acid leak kills one at Samsung Plant

An acid leak at Samsung’s plant in South Korea has claimed one life and injured four others. According to Samsung’s official statement “small amount of hydrofluoric acid” was leaked during maintenance in Hwaseong but according to Yonhap News, acid of about 2-10 liters was leaked that is fatal for lungs and nervous system.

Samsung is also under fire due to the fact that they tried to conceal the leak before it claimed one victim.
