Red Colour and number 8 are said to be significant in the Chinese culture and based on these two, Samsung has announced F5080 and F4280 TVs at the Samsung China Forum 2013. Specific to the Chinese market, intrinsic details are slim at the moment but the F5080 features a stand that comes in red colour whereas F4280 boasts a TV stand shaped as figure 8.
The colour and number symbolise joy and fortune in the Chinese culture.
