Samsung also announced the pricing of its Smart Evolution Kit for the US market. The kit will be up for purchase from May in United States at a price tag of just $300. This same kit will sell for 299 euros in the European region.
The Smart Evolution Kit is a small box that can be fitted on the back of select 2012 Samsung Smart TVs and get all the features found on the 2013 Smart TV. When installed, the 2013 Smart Evolution Kit will upgrade the Smart TV with a faster quad-core processor, GPU, more RAM and the updated Smart Hub software.
Samsung will bundle the kit with the Smart Touch Remote.
