UPDATE: It seems T-Mobile also confirmed the price. Apparently, the upfront cost of Galaxy S4 will be $99.
T-Mobile USA is making a slew of announcements today and it includes the confirmation of Galaxy S4. While the press note says the release will be in the second quarter of this year, T-Mobile’s CEO has confirmed the release date of Samsung’s flagship device will be in May – to be precise “around May 1st.” The pricing will also be revealed closer to the release.
To rehash, Galaxy S4 features a 4.99-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 13 megapixel main camera with 2 megapixel on the front, NFC, 2600mAh battery, IR Blaster, 16GB internal memory with microSD card slot up to 64GB. The processor choice for the T-Mobile variant is unknown but it will most likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 processor.
On the software side, it will run the latest version of Android Jelly Bean OS and will come with other software enhancements like Smart Scroll and Smart Pause, Air View, S Translator, S Health, Samsung Hubs, WatchON.
