A Vietnamese retailer, Mainguyen has spilled all the details on Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy device. The device is identified as Galaxy Win (GT-I8552) and it seems to be a mid-range device, spec’d slightly higher than the recently announced Galaxy S II Plus.

Galaxy Win (GT-I8552)

The Galaxy Win will run Android 4.1.2 OS and will be powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU. The site claims Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 as the processor but Tinhte speculates it could be using Snapdragon 200 because of the Adreno 203 GPU. The screen size has got a boost to 4.7-inch (Super AMOLED) but no change in the resolution, which will be WVGA (800×480). In addition to this, the phone will support 21Mbps HSDPA, Dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 5MP rear-facing and front-facing VGA camera, A-GPS/GLONASS, microSD card slot and 2000mAh battery.

The phone is rumoured to launch in May In Vietnam.

UPDATE: Chinese certification authority, Tenaa has approved the device, thus confirming some specs and the phone’s design. Link

Also, the CPU could be the Snapdragon S4 since some chips in the S4 Play series also uses the same GPU.
