Right on the rumoured schedule, Samsung’s Galaxy S III is now available in Amethyst Purple hue on Sprint. Only the 16GB variant will be available in the new colour and will sell for $99.99 on contract after $50 mail-in rebate. Sprint will also give the phone for free in case a user ports their number from another carrier.
The feature set understandably remains the same with Android 4.1.2, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE support, 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED (720p) display, 8MP camera, NFC and 2100mAh battery.
