Eric Schmidt

Google’s chairman Eric Schmidt has downplayed the rumour about its strained relationship with Samsung. During a Q&A session at Dive into Mobile 2013, Schmidt confirmed that the relationship with Samsung is “very healthy”. He does not see the equation between the companies change and in fact applauded Samsung’s decision to go with Android that has helped them to define Android.

Samsung is currently the largest smartphone vendor in the world whose Galaxy smartphones and tablets are powered by the Android OS.
