Last month, Samsung confirmed to launch a newer version of TecTiles NFC tags that will work with the Galaxy S4 and now they’ve released the TecTiles 2 that supports all Samsung NFC-enabled devices, including the latest Galaxy S4. The new TecTiles tags are available for purchase on Samsung USA’s website for $14.99 for a pack of five and will be available at other major retailers in June.
The TecTiles tags work in conjunction with the downloadable TecTiles app that allows the tags to be programmed with various functions like changing phone settings, making a phone call, texting, opening a web page and lots more.
