Reuters: Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 to be powered by Intel chip

There have been murmurs of Samsung adopting an Intel CPU for one of its tablets and today Reuters have chimed in claiming the same. They cite one of the source who say that “at least one version” of Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will be powered by Intel’s Clover Trail+ CPU. The reason for the shift is not known but if Samsung’s planning more than one variant of the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, we can safely assume an ARM-based tablet will also be in the offing.

Samsung has announced the 7-inch version under the Galaxy Tab 3 range and will hopefully announce the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 along with other devices at the Premiere 2013 event on June 20.
