Samsung’s JK Shin may have officially said about the good sales of the Galaxy S4 but the rumours are too many to ignore. A new report today claims Samsung is planning to reduce the monthly production of the Galaxy S4 by 15 percent due to sluggish Galaxy S4 sales.
This is obviously unconfirmed but the Korea IT Times claims the July order for the parts is for about 6.5 million units, which is half then what Samsung ordered for May.
Interestingly, the report also says Samsung will “retire” Galaxy S III sooner than planned and apparently lower performing devices will also get the boot.
Hopefully, Samsung will clear the air tonight by revealing some more information on their flagship device, in addition to announcing new devices.
