A survey carried out by Campaign Asia-Pacific for its Asia’s Top 1000 Brands report puts Samsung in the number one spot for 2013. The report surveyed about 6,000 consumers across 12 Asian countries – Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam – where Samsung came on top for the second consecutive year, confirming the dominance of the South Korean giant in the aforementioned countries.
According to the report, Samsung claimed the first position in 8 countries out of the 12 countries, which was just 5 in the last year.
The next four brands include Apple, Sony, Nestle and Panasonic respectively.
