Samsung has a tendency to release multiple variants of the same device to cater to different markets. And it seems they’ve done the same for the Galaxy Mega 6.3. The SCH-P729 pictured is a Dual-SIM (Duos) version but according to this product page, the phone will support CDMA and GSM networks, which will most likely be limited to the Chinese region.
Design-wise, the phone will be same as the Galaxy Mega 6.3 but apparently Samsung has reduced the RAM in this version to 1GB instead of the original 1.5GB. Additionally, it will have 1.7GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.2.2, 8MP and 2MP cameras, microSD card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
We recently unboxed both the Galaxy Mega devices and if you’ve any queries related to any of the devices, do ask us in the comments.
