Samsung brings Q9000 Standing Air Conditioner to India

Samsung has announced a new standing air conditioner for the Indian market. The stylish looking AC will come in two variants – one that offers only cooling while the other offering both heating and cooling with climate control.

The Q9000 comes in earthy brown colour with a glossy glass finish which Samsung claims it blends in perfectly with the surrounding décor and is compact enough to be space efficient. Additionally, the AC has a hidden display panel that pops up only when the unit is turned on and has a soft touch premium control panel.

On the performance front, Q9000 takes advantage of the jet engine aerodynamics design that creates three powerful whirlwind-like airflows that throws air up to 10 meters and is equipped with Multijet Technology Condenser that cools the refrigerant faster than a conventional condenser.

There’s also a Smart Inverter Compressor built-in that Q9000 adjusts the AC’s speed as per the ambient temperature, Smart sensor with solo and family mode that adjusts the temperature according to the people and movement in the room, individual Air Outlet Control Buttons, Tropicalized Cooling, good sleep feature that adjusts the temperature of the AC as per an individual’s sleep pattern, dehumidifier, auto cleaning function and more importantly is fitted with VirusDoctor, Zero Filter and the Full HD Filter that provides clean air by eliminating 99.99 percent of harmful micro organisms and dust particles, which is said to be effective against SARS and H1N1 germs.

The Q9000 will sell in India in 2.3T capacity at Rs. 162,000 for the Cooling model while the Cooling/Heating variant will sell for Rs. 174,000.
