The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has postponed the final ruling of the Apple complaint against Samsung. The final ruling was supposed to come out yesterday but the ITC notified about the delay till August 9, 2013 citing to “complete the investigation”.

The USITC began investigating after Apple filed a complaint against Samsung on August 5, 2011 and has been doing a full review.

Foss Patents also notes that August 9 is the day where Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will hear Apple’s appeal of a permanent injunction against Samsung products that was turned down by the district court.

Furthermore, the ban on certain Apple products will go into effect on August 5 unless it is vetoed by President Obama.
