Japanese users of the first Galaxy Note (SC-05D) can now upgrade the phone software to the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. The new OS will be a substantial upgrade for users as the device previously ran Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and will bring in improved performance along with improved user interface, S Pen support, Google Now, expandable and actionable notifications, handwriting recognition in S Planner and Email app and lots more. Samsung will remove the Social Hub, S Choice and Flash player after the update.
The JZO54K.SC05DOMMSG update is now available over-the-air or users can connect their device with the PC and install it with Kies.
Updated but no trace of MultiWindow feature…
