It’s been almost a year since Samsung launched its Android-based media player. The last one was the Galaxy Player 5.8 that was announced for the South Korean market. This year, it seems Samsung will launch a new media player and going by the information by Move Player, the upcoming player will arrive to South Korea soon.
The site notes the YP-GI2 will be known as Galaxy 070 and if you recollect Samsung had launched a Galaxy 070 device back in 2011 that was nothing but an Android based internet phone for LG U+. Similarly, the new device will also be marketed as a ‘Smart Home Phone 2 HD’ but for the KT network.
The image provided by our tipster clearly shows the presence of the earpiece and two KT-specific apps.
On the features front, the device will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and will be powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a WVGA display, two cameras, Play Store support, Wi-Fi and lots more.
