ATIV Book 9 Lite went on sale in the United States last month and now Samsung has announced the availability of the high-end ATIV Book 9 Plus and ATIV Tab 3. The ATIV Book 9 Plus will be up for pre-order from August 18 while ATIV Tab 3 will be available from September 1.
The ATIV Book 9 Plus sports unibody aluminium design, which Samsung claims is a result of over 33,000 hours of craftsmanship. The ATIV Book 9 Plus features a 13.3-inch 3200×1800 QHD+ touchscreen display and comes with Intel’s Core i5 Processor 4200U up to 1.6GHz, a 128GB SSD, integrated Intel graphics, 4GB RAM and up to 7.5 hours battery life. ATIV Book 9 Plus is priced at $1,399.99.
The ATIV Tab 3 is touted to be the world’s thinnest Windows 8 tablet at 0.31-inches thick and is bundled with a Bluetooth keyboard that functions as a cover and kickstand. The ATIV Tab 3 comes with a 10.1-inch 1366×768 touchscreen display, Windows 8 OS, with preloaded Office Home & Student edition, S pen support, 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z2760, 2GB RAM, 64GB SSD.
The ATIV Tab 3 will sell for $699.99.
Samsung is also planning to introduce enterprise versions of both the devices in fall 2013.
