Samsung at an event announced the pricing and availability of the Curved OLED TV for the American market. The KN55S9C Curved OLED TV features improved picture quality with faster response time, self-emitting RGB sub-pixels that eliminates the need for a colour filter and deep blacks due to the OLED panel. The TV is even certified by Underwriters Laboratories for its picture quality.
The TV supports 1080p resolution, 3D support, S Recommendation engine, Smart TV features and MultiView support that allows two people to watch two different things at the same time. MultiView is achieved with the help of 3D Active glasses that shows different content to two different users and is equipped with stereo sound so the user does not get disturbed with the other content.
The 55-inch KN55S9C is now shipping for $8,999.99.
