Samsung’s smartwatch plans are no secret and now Bloomberg is chiming in with their two sources claiming the smartwatch from the Korean giant will be unveiled early next month. Samsung will introduce a “wristwatch-like device named the Galaxy Gear next month that can make phone calls, surf the Web and handle e-mails”.
Interestingly, the report also says that the Galaxy Gear won’t have a flexible display, contrary to a recent patent application but apparently Samsung is working on a watch with a flexible screen.
The device will be announced alongside the Galaxy Note III during the Mobile Unpacked event on September 4.

Poor Samesung. Looks like they are struggling with ideas. I’m sure this watch will change drastically once Apple releases something.

Samsung were making smartphones long before Apple joined the market late with their dumb phone that couldn’t even run apps. But I guess when Apple copy Samsung and release a “smartwatch”, you’ll be first in line claiming they invented watches.
Why are you trolling Samsung sites anyway – it’s obnoxious the way Apple users have to astroturf and evangelise to everyone who uses something else. Sorry, some of us (most of us) like to think different.
