The only thing we now need is a good look at the Galaxy Gear because most of the intrinsic details have been leaked by one way or another. The new information comes from GigaOm who’ve got their hands on the hardware of the device. As with the case with other Samsung devices, Samsung has been floating various versions of the watch but is consistent with few things like the square screen and the presence of an OLED display. The screen size is said to be 2.5-inches.
Internally, the watch will be powered by a dual-core processor and will have an integrated camera, speakers, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, accelerometer and a “decent battery life”.
The watch will be controlled via an app that will be installed on the smartphone or the tablet. The site says the app will only be downloadable via Samsung Apps but we believe Samsung will eventually release it on the Google Play Store. The notifications on the watch and the primary device will always be in sync and will have support for Facebook and Twitter apps.
Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Gear smartwatch along with the Galaxy Note III on September 4.

A watch powered by a dual core processor with connectivity like NFC and Bluetooth on all the time. Im sure “Decent battery Life” is something like “Charge it when youre off to sleep everynight”.
