Here it is, finally. Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Note 3 that will take the helm from the hugely successful Galaxy Note II. Samsung has improved the new Galaxy Note 3 not only in terms of hardware but also design and software. The Galaxy Note 3 differs in design in comparison with Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and comes with soft and textured-touch back cover for a premium look and feel.
The Galaxy Note 3 has a very similar dimension to the Galaxy Note II but packs in a larger 5.7-inch display. The display is Super AMOLED and supports full HD 1920×1080 resolution – same as the Galaxy S4. Internally, the device is powered by Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core CPU or the new Exynos 5 Octa (SoC will vary according to the market) and 3GB RAM. Furthermore, there’s a 13MP camera sensor with smart stabilisation for improved picture quality, 2MP front-facing camera, 4K video recording support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, infrared port, 32GB/64GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 3200mAh battery.
On the software side, the Galaxy Note 3 will run Android 4.3 out of the box and brings improved S Pen support. Galaxy Note 3 has something called as Air Command that brings multitude of options with S Pen. Other software additions include WatchON, Samsung Hub, Air View, improved Multi-window, Smart Pause, S Health and lots more.
Samsung will release the Galaxy Note 3 on September 25 in 149 countries in Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink and will be available in US and Japan in October.
