While we didn’t get any confirmation about a 12.2-inch tablet from Samsung, they did announce their Galaxy Note 10.1 with refreshed hardware and software. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) was the last piece of announcement by Samsung that upgraded Samsung’s larger sized Note tablet with improved features.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is fitted with a WQXGA Super Clear LCD (2560×1600) 10.1-inch display along with the new 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor (3G / Wi-Fi variants) or 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (LTE-A) and 3GB RAM. The main camera now sports an 8MP BSI sensor while the front has a 2MP one. Additionally, there’s GPS, microSD card slot, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal memory, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 8220mAh battery.
The tablet runs Android 4.3 and comes with improved S Pen and S Note functionality, Air Command, improved Multi-window, Samsung Hub, WatchON, My Magazine and more.
The tablet will be released in Q3 2013 in three variants – Wi-Fi-only, 3G and LTE.
