In addition to UHD OLED TV, Samsung also announced the world’s first Curved UHD televisions at the IFA 2013. Samsung has been selling its curved OLED TV but Samsung wants to show its technological prowess by showcasing curved UHD TVs which are said to be more difficult to produce than the former.
Samsung is showing off 55-inch and 65-inch curved UHD TVs at the show but don’t hold your breath for a release anytime soon because Samsung says a retail release will depend on “consumer response and market demands.”
