New screenshots reveal multi-user support for Galaxy Tab 3 tablets

September 16, 2013 By kunal Leave a Comment

multi-user

Stock Android 4.2 OS features multi-user support that gives the liberty to tablet owners to share their device with other users. This nifty feature was evidently missing from the new Galaxy Tab 3 devices but according to new screenshots, Samsung will soon add the feature via a software update.

SamMobile got hold of some screenshots that shows how different users will be able to log in from the lockscreen as well as ‘Users’ option in the settings.

Interestingly, the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 will be left out of the party and the feature will arrive only Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and 10.1 devices as they run Android 4.2.2 out of the box compared to Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch’ Android 4.1.2.
