Samsung India will launch two new devices targeting the mid-range market, according to Vineet Taneja, Country Head, Mobile Division. Taneja gave the confirmation to PTI that two new devices will be launched in India in the price range of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 15,000.
He didn’t hint on any specific model but the new phones will offer Indian vernacular language support like Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Gujarati.
Samsung India has been banking on the Indian languages support and recently announced to support them via a software update on some of its devices and eventually spreading it across all tiers.
