At an event today, Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Note 3 for the Indian market. The latest Galaxy Note flagship will be available in India on September 25, which is also the global launch day of the device.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy Note 3 at Rs. 49,900 that comes with the latest Exynos 5 Octa (5420) processor with four cores clocked at 1.9GHz (Cortex-A15) and four at 1.3GHz (Cortex-A7).
The design has been changed in comparison to the previous Galaxy Note II and now features faux leather back for a premium look.
Internally, the phone features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display supporting full HD resolution, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera sensor with smart stabilisation for improved picture quality, 2MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, infrared port, 32GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 3200mAh battery.
Software-wise, Galaxy Note 3 will run Android 4.3 and features Air Command – an S Pen exclusive feature that brings up a palette of functions that can be used with the S Pen. There’s the usual Samsung enhancements like Samsung Hub, Multi Window, Group Play, Story Album, S Translator, Smart Stay, Smart Scroll, Air View, WatchON, S Health.
Galaxy Note 3 will be available in three colours – Jet Black, Blush Pink and Classic White.
