After a year of drama, Samsung Display and LG Display have agreed their settle their differences related to display technologies. Both companies will settle their ongoing lawsuits and work together to increase their “competitiveness globally” by “cooperation, instead of engaging in all-consuming patent disputes”.
Both companies sued and countersued each other over display technologies related to OLED, PLS where even the South Korean ministry had to intervene to resolve their conflicts.
