UPDATE: Samsung says the Galaxy S4 Gold Edition was already on sale from Sep 8 and in fact their new post says “8th comes before the 10th”, which is a remark against Apple’s golden iPhone 5s that was announced on the 10th of September.
Samsung has apparently launched a golden edition of the Galaxy S4. The above image is making the rounds on Samsung UAE’s Twitter and Facebook feeds that suggests there will be two gold variants up for grabs – a Gold Pink Galaxy S4 and a Gold Brown Galaxy S4. There are no other details like the price or availability but chances are pretty slim for the new colour to be available elsewhere.
The golden Galaxy S4 seems to be an obvious dig against Apple who recently launched a golden-coloured iPhone 5s.
