Samsung generally pushes an update to its home grown Samsung Apps store after the launch of a major device. And after the release of Galaxy Note 3 yesterday, Samsung pushed a new update for Samsung Apps on its existing Galaxy devices. The new version v13092404.10.002.0 is now available and in addition to a new logo, we found something else that was missing in the previous version of the store – Play Store listings.
Some apps are now prefixed with a Play Store icon and tapping on them will show the description of the app and a link to visit the Play Store.
We’re not sure of the criteria for Samsung Apps to show the Play Store listing but the move does seem positive.
Thanks, AKhaan!

If they don’t have the app in their own store, it leads to Google Play. This was available in previous Samsung Apps versions, it’s not a new feature
Note 2 owners have known and seen this for a while now. Either way this is great for all Galaxy products and owners.
@yarrellray:disqus @mariusoprisan:disqus Interesting! Can’t replicate this on an S4 yet it shows on the Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II.
