Hot on the heels of LG Display’s announcement, Samsung has apparently confirmed the mass production of its flexible OLED panel. The panel is supposedly 5.7-inches in size with Full HD resolution support and will be curved on the sides compared to LG’s concave top to bottom curve.

Samsung’s panel also seems to be lighter and thinner than LG’s offering.

The panel produced by Samsung is supposed to be integrated in the device called Galaxy Round. The device will be a limited edition due to display production constraints and will boast features similar to the Galaxy Note 3.

Samsung will unveil the device later this week.
