Samsung’s last hope to overturn the ITC import and sale ban was shattered today as the Obama administration failed to veto the original decision. US Trade Representative confirmed that he decided to keep the ban in effect “after carefully weighing policy considerations…advice from agencies and information from interested parties”.
While the import ban is demoralising for Samsung, financially there will be little to no harm since the ban applies on older Samsung products that are near the end of shelf life or have already been discontinued. Newer devices like Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4 are safe from the ban as Samsung has worked to change the design to circumvent the infringed patents.
The ban against Samsung products was announced in August, a week after Obama administration vetoed the ban to allow sales of some Apple products.

Why stupid Obama veto to import all samsung electronic products to u.s? Obama doesn’t know most of electronic devices between samsung and apple. The stupidest company apple’s design always same over and over like 4inch display size. Apple design processor chip but one company makes apple’s chip and all apple’s display made by LG’s ips lcd , and camera is made from sony and battery is made by sanyo. Samsung is world’s biggest company because they make own fastest processor chip and they have greatest display, and better camera, software and they make screen display size differently no matter what. Stupidest company apple should bankrupt no matter what. Samsung electronic products import more products around the world but apple sell less around the world.

I don’t want Apple to go bankrupt, but I do want them to end this silly crusade where they *seem* to actually believe that they invented everything, right down to the rectangular phone. Steve Jobs was truly brilliant at being able to see a way to combine all the pieces of the iPhone together in a way that was not as intimidating to the mass market as other smart phones at the time. But they still did not invent *any* of the technology itself.
