Galaxy Gear

There was not an iota of doubt that Samsung will work to extend Galaxy Gear support to more Samsung devices and today the company has revealed more details on the Galaxy Gear-Galaxy smartphone compatibility. In addition to the Galaxy Note 3 that supports Galaxy Gear out of the box, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II will support Samsung’s smartwatch after the Android 4.3 update. Devices like Galaxy S4 mini, S4 Active, Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3, and S4 zoom will support after a separate software update that is expected to begin at the end of October.

Galaxy Gear enables users to receive and make calls as well as check incoming messages and emails. Galaxy Gear comes with a 1.9MP camera on the wrist belt to take pictures and even supports Pedometer functionality as well as third-party apps.
