Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S4 mini that confirmed its existence via a leak earlier this month. The smaller version of the Galaxy S4 will sell from November on AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular.
The Galaxy S4 mini as we know is a compact-sized lookalike of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S4 phone but is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.7 dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 8MP camera, 1.9MP camera, Wi-Fi, IR LED for Samsung WatchON, microSD card slot, 16GB internal memory, NFC, 1900mAh battery.
The phone runs Android 4.2.2 and will soon receive a software update to support the Galaxy Gear. It also comes with Samsung-centric features like Story Album, S Translator, S Voice, S Travel, Sound & Shot etc.
This phone will kick the Apple 5c’s tin can plastic to the curb in this next quarter. Bigger… better… Super Amoled display, excellent this generation chip compared to Apple last gen chip in 5c and at same price on contract!
