Samsung is facing the wrath of consumers in China after China Central Television (CCTV) called out the manufacturer for selling faulty smartphones. Television channel’s Economic Half-Hour program alleged that some of the Samsung devices in the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Note series crash almost 30 times a day. Samsung has now released a statement apologising for the inconvenience caused to the customers.
To show their commitment, Samsung has offered existing Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II users to repair their devices for free. In case if the problem persists after more than two repairs, Samsung has promised to replace the same model to customers free of cost.
Affected models include seven models – I939, I9300/CM16, I9308/M16; N719/M16, N7100/CM16, N7102/CM16, N7108/CM16.
