As a part of Samsung and Yahoo’s multi-year partnership deal, Yahoo has announced NewsON service for Samsung Smart TVs. NewsON will be available to consumers in select markets in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East where users can get the latest news with the content pulled from Yahoo News.
The information will be displayed in a tile-like interface where a click on the remote will show the full article or a related video. NewON will also show weather with weekly forecasts along with weather based photos picked up from Flickr.
