S Pen is the biggest draw on the Galaxy Note series and with every iteration of Galaxy Note, Samsung has tried to improvise the functionality of the accessory. In addition to the improved handwriting recognition – which by the way, can correctly detect my bad handwriting – the Galaxy Note 3 now comes with the Air Command.
The Air Command enhances the overall functionality of the S Pen with Action Memo, Scrapbooker, Screen Write, S Finder and the Pen Window. Action Memo is a note taking application that links all the written text in the memo to a particular action like saving to contacts, search on the web, call, message or email. Scrapbooker is a collection tool where users can clip in any content they like easily. Screen Write enables quick writing on the screen and sharing while the S Finder is a universal search that can find content not only on the web but also on the device. Pen Window brings in a windowed interface of select apps that can be used in conjunction with whatever a user is doing. In short, an S Pen variant of Multi Window.
We created couple of small, fun videos to show how easy it is to create design on the Galaxy Note 3.
