Samsung today announced couple of new SmartCam HD IP Security cameras at the CES 2014. The SmartCam HD and SmartCam HD Outdoor enable full HD video streaming, 128-degree ultra-wide angle lenses and remote tracking with the help of Samsung apps.
Both the cameras are targeted to a specific crowd in mind with the first one targeted at users who want an indoor solution while the outdoor variant is understandably for outdoor use that comes with a weatherproof design.
Both cameras are equipped with Wi-Fi, a 2 megapixel 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor and IR cut filter for improved picture quality, efficient bandwidth usage for streaming content, microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Samsung will sell the SmartCam HD for $179 and SmartCam HD Outdoor for $229 in March 2014.
