Earlier today, Samsung officially announced its new line of tablets. Samsung has segregated the ‘PRO’ lineup with one tablet belonging to the Galaxy NotePRO family and the rest three to the Galaxy TabPRO. The Galaxy NotePRO features a 12.2-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) display and is powered by either Exynos 5 Octa or the Qaulcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor.
The tablet now has something called as Magazine UX which is similar to the My Magazine layout found on the Galaxy Note 3, same soft-touch design at the back and supports S Pen. Additionally, the tablet will run Android 4.4 KitKat, feature 3GB RAM, 8MP and 2MP cameras, 32 or 64GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD card slot and 9500mAh battery.
The Galaxy TabPRO 12.2-inch is similar to the Galaxy NotePRO offering but loses the S Pen support.
The Galaxy TabPRO 10.1-inch boasts the same processor options and display resolution but lowers down the actual RAM to 2GB and slightly smaller 8220mAh battery.
The last product is the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4-inch and is a derivative of the 10.1-inch version with a slightly smaller display and 2GB RAM. The battery capacity is also reduced to 4,800mAh.
The tablets will be available globally in Q1 2014.
