Moving from the ATIV One7 (2014 Edition) all-in-one PC, Samsung also announced an upgrade to its top-of-the-line notebook – ATIV Book 9. The 2014 Edition of this notebook packs in some serious hardware in a sleek and portable form factor.
The notebook features a 15.6-inch display that is 20 percent brighter and boasts a full HD resolution support compared to the previous generation. The keyboard on the ATIV Book 9 2014 Edition is certified by UL for its ergonomics and offers a whopping 14 hours of battery life for an all-day computing experience.
Rounding up the specs are ultra-low voltage Core i5 or i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, up to 1TB SSD storage (2x512GB SSD), Intel HD Graphics 4400, USB 3.0 support, HDMI and bunch of other ports. The biggest highlight however, is the pre-installed SPlayer+, which is an exclusive lossless audio player that works along with the Wolfson DAC chip.
The notebook will be available worldwide in solid black colour.
