Samsung has announced the availability of its Galaxy Note Pro and Galaxy Tab Pro series for the American market. Announced at CES early last month, the new tablets are now available for pre-order from today while the general availability will start from Feb 13 next week.
Samsung will launch all the four models – Note Pro 12.2 and Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1 and 8.4 with the Note Pro 12.2 LTE variant from Verizon launching later this quarter.
All the tablets boast a high-resolution WQXGA (2560 x 1600) display, new Magazine UX, Exynos 5 Octa or Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. The 12.2-inch variants of the Note Pro and Tab Pro are obviously the top-tier tablets that have the ability to multi-task four apps at once with the Multi Window along with a new keyboard experience. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 also features S Pen support with Air Command.
Galaxy Tab Pro and Note Pro owners will also get $800 of content through Galaxy Perks. Some of the perks include $25 Google Play credit, three-months of Hulu Plus trial membership, one-year of Bloomberg Businessweek+ subscription, six months of Cisco WebEx Premium 8 package, 50 GB of Dropbox space for two years and one year of Gogo inflight internet access (up to 36 flights).
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (16GB) is priced at $399.99, Tab Pro 10.1 (16GB) at $499.99, Tab Pro 12.2 (32GB) at $649.99 and Note Pro 12.2 (32GB/64GB) for $749.99/$849.99 respectively.
