Sprint today introduced Wi-Fi calling in the United States and the devices to support it are Samsung’s Galaxy Mega and Galaxy S4 mini. Wi-Fi Calling takes advantage of user’s Wi-Fi network to enable a better network coverage and even save user’s calling minutes and messages.

Sprint says everything is seamless and is done in the background and can be setup easily.

Sprint will roll out a new software update for both the devices to support Wi-Fi Calling in the coming week.
