In addition to the Galaxy S5, Samsung also announced the Gear Fit at the Unpacked event. Gear Fit boasts the industry’s first curved Super AMOLED display that acts as a fitness device with the integrated pedometer, heart rate, sleep and also double up as a smartwatch that notifies users of incoming SMS, email or call.
The display on the Gear Fit is 1.84-inch Super AMOLED (432×128), is IP67 dust and water resistant, Bluetooth 4.0 LE support and 210mAh battery with up to 3-4 days of battery life. It also supports changing of straps.
The Gear Fit will be released alongside the Galaxy S5 on April 11 in colour options of Black, Orange and Mocha Grey.
