April 11 is Samsung’s official release date for the Galaxy S5 but South Koreans are getting the device early as all the three carriers have started selling the device. The reason for operators to push the date early is due to the Korean regulator imposing a temporary sales ban on all the carriers.
According to Reuters, SK Telecom will sell the Galaxy S5 for 866,800 Korean won ($810) while the other two carriers are selling to consumers not covered by ban.
