As expected, Samsung has announced the Galaxy S5 for the Indian market. Samsung will sell the 16GB variant for a price in between Rs. 51,000 to Rs. 53,000 and will be up for purchase from April 11.
The Galaxy S5 features a perforated pattern on the back cover and is certified with IP67 standard for dust and water resistance.
Hardware-wise, the phone comes with a 5.1-inch Full HD display, Exynos Octa-core processor (quad 1.9GHz + quad 1.3GHz), 2GB RAM, 16MP camera with an autofocus speed of up to 0.3 secs, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot up to 128GB, NFC, Infrared remote control, 2800mAh battery, finger scanner and heart rate sensor.
Galaxy S5 runs Android 4.4 KitKat and features HDR in video, Selective Focus mode, Virtual Tour Shot, Shot & More, S Health 3.0, Kids Mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode, Download Booster and Private Mode.
