Just like the mini variants of previous flagship phones, Samsung will also unveil a Galaxy S5 mini. SamMobile has got it on good record that the mini version of the latest Galaxy S5 phone will be identified as SM-G800 and will feature a 4.5-inch HD 720p display, Android 4.4 KitKat, Snapdragon processor – presumably Snapdragon 400 and come with 1.5GB RAM, 8 and 2 megapixel camera, IR Blaster with Samsung WatchON support and 2100mAh battery.
The site could not confirm if the Galaxy S5 mini will have the same water and dust resistance, inclusion of heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner or even the release date.
Whatever the case is, we expect the mini version to come after a few weeks of Galaxy S5 going on sale.
