As expected, Samsung officially announced the Galaxy K zoom, a phone that majorly concentrates on its camera prowess. Interestingly, Samsung isn’t calling the device Galaxy S5 zoom like they did with its predecessor but has spawned a new line, which we feel will get more attention than previously.
Samsung has managed to make the phone slim but still pack in a 20.7 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and a 10x optical zoom. The phone also features Xenon Flash, Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure Separation) for the adjusting balance of light and clarity, Pro Suggest mode that offers 5 optimised filter settings and Selfie Alarm that takes timed selfies.
As far as smartphone features are concerned, the Galaxy K zoom comes with an Exynos hexa-core processor, 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED (720p) display, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage with microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ultra Power Saving Mode, S Health Lite and 2430mAh battery.
The phone will be up for sale in the coming weeks.
