The talk of a more premium Galaxy S5 is gaining steam and over the weekend, Phone Arena received pictures of another Galaxy S5 variant, dubbed as Galaxy S5 Prime. While it’s hard to prove the veracity of the pictured device, the site claims it received this set of pictures from a loyal reader and will most likely have an aluminium body along with some other aesthetic changes.
Internally, the phone is expected to have a 5.2-inch display with QHD resolution support (2560×1440) and Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB RAM.
Nevertheless, we have no official acknowledgement from Samsung yet, which means the rumoured Prime variant could wither away as a test unit or the best case scenario would be to release it in limited countries. Whatever the case is, we’ll keep you posted.
