Galaxy Tab S now on pre-order in the US

Galaxy Tab S 10.5

Samsung Galaxy Tab S that was announced last week is now up for pre-order in the United States. The Super AMOLED display-toting Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 can be pre-ordered on sites like Samsung.com, Amazon, Best Buy, Fry’s, Office Depot, Office Max, PC Richard & Son, Sears, Tiger Direct and Walmart.com.

It’s the Wi-Fi-only version that will be up for sale, which means it will be powered by the Exynos 5 Octa processor and 3GB RAM. Furthermore, the Super AMOLED display supports a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, 8 megapixel and 2.1 megapixel rear and front-facing cameras, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 4K UHD video playback support, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 4900mAh battery (8.4-inch) / 7900mAh battery (10.5-inch).

The Galaxy Tab S will also get premium apps and services for free as part of Galaxy Gifts. US Galaxy Tab S users will get one-year free of Gogo In-flight Wi-Fi access (up to 36 segments), a 12-month subscription to Bloomberg BusinessWeek, 6-month trial subscription to The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, 3-month subscription to The New York Times, 3 months free Sirius XM Radio, 3 months free subscription to Audible, 3-month free trial of Marvel Unlimited, single issues free of charge till July 31st, 2014 on Samsung’s Papergarden service and National Geographic’s 50 Greatest Photos.

The tablets are priced at $399.99 for the 8.4-inch variant and $499.99 for the 10.5-inch variant.

    Definitely worth considering and hope TMobile will get it. Either this or the Note 10.1 2014 edition

      Frankly, would consider these or the Tab 4, unless you want the S Pen functionality.
